Daniel Croix is an actor in film, television, and theatre. He recently appeared in the Apple TV+ limited series ‘Manhunt,’ stars in BET’s 'The Oval’ as Jason, and recurred on Hulu's 'Love Victor.' His debut came in the NY Times Critic Pick: 'Much Ado About Nothing' directed by Kenny Leon.
He’s also a filmmaker. As a writer/director, his Oscar-qualified short ‘Huli’ screened at Kino Babylon in Berlin, Hawai'i International Film Festival, and over 15 festivals across the US and abroad. He produced the Sundance 2026 short ‘Don’t Tell Mama.’ He co-wrote/directed ‘Oasis’ through NAACP's Cinematic Short Film Program, which was curated at Lincoln Center. He creates artful character-driven films at Ringshout Productions.
His collaborations in contemporary art have been presented at Honolulu Museum of Art, Plimsoll Gallery, Burchfield Penney Art Center, The Crocker Art Museum, and Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center.
When not on set, Daniel can be found free-diving in the ocean, visiting sacred sites, cherishing family, and collaborating with friends - combining reverence for environmental stewardship, cinema, and consciousness. He was born in Buffalo, NY, and has an Acting BFA from SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Theatre Arts & Film. He lives in Los Angeles and Honolulu.
