Daniel Croix is an actor in film, television, and theatre. He made his debut in the NY Times Critic Pick: 'Much Ado About Nothing' directed by Tony winner, Kenny Leon. He made his television debut in Tyler Perry’s 'The Oval’ where he stars as Jason, and recently appeared in recurring roles on Hulu's hit series 'Love Victor' and Apple TV’s prestige drama series 'Manhunt.'

He’s also a filmmaker. As a writer/director, his short ‘Huli’ screened in several Oscar-qualifying festivals across the US and abroad, was featured on Roku and Hawaiian Airlines, and was curated at the Kino Babylon cinema in Berlin. He was selected for the NAACP Director’s Cohort, where he co-wrote/directed ‘Oasis.’ He produced ‘Don’t Tell Mama, the directorial debut of Chloe Leigh King.

Through Ringshout Productions, Daniel develops and produces a slate of bold, character-driven original films. His collaborations in video, multi-media installation, and contemporary art have been presented at the Honolulu Museum of Art, Plimsoll Gallery, Burchfield Penney Art Center, Squeaky Wheel Media Arts Center, The Crocker Art Museum, and Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center.

While not on set, Daniel can be found free-diving in the ocean, visiting sacred sites, cherishing family, and collaborating with friends - combining reverence for land/oceans, cinema, and consciousness. Born in Buffalo, NY, he has a BFA in Acting from SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Theatre Arts & Film. He lives between Honolulu and Los Angeles, and travels frequently to work on films, guest speak, conduct research, and create work rooted in craft, community, and story.
